DroneReady Curriculum LMS — how student and teacher data is handled.
What we collect
- Teachers: your email and a password (stored hashed — never in plain text).
- Students: the display name you enter, a 4-digit PIN (stored hashed), and an optional email.
- Learning activity: quiz attempts, flashcard reviews, and drill results — so your teacher can see progress.
How we use it
Only to run your class: track progress, show your teacher a gradebook, and — if a student adds an email — send optional weekly progress reminders. Nothing else.
What we don't do
No advertising trackers. No selling or sharing your data with third parties. No analytics profiling. The site runs over HTTPS, and passwords and PINs are hashed with bcrypt.
Schools & FERPA
When used in a classroom, your school or teacher is the data controller; this tool processes student data on their behalf for educational purposes only. Teachers can reset a student's PIN at any time.
Access & deletion
To correct or delete a student's data, email hello@dronereadycurriculum.com and we'll take care of it.
